Vetrograph: Glauca by Anne Clifton is a contemporary blown-glass vessel incorporating lampworked inclusions and an etched surface. Against a citrus-yellow ground, layered gray and brown forms intersect with turquoise lines and pale accents, creating an abstract composition that unfolds around the vessel. The etched surface lends the imagery a painterly quality, while the elongated body tapers to a small foot.
