Shipping policy

Shipping Policy

STROBEL Gallery works carefully with our artists and professional shipping partners to ensure that each artwork and object is packed appropriately and arrives safely.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs vary depending on the size, weight, value, destination, and packing requirements of the work. Where possible, shipping will be calculated at checkout. For works requiring specialized packing, crating, freight, or art handling, STROBEL Gallery will contact the collector to confirm shipping arrangements and costs.

Fulfillment

Works may ship from STROBEL Gallery, an artist’s studio, or one of our professional art-handling partners. Because many works are unique and may require custom packing or crating, fulfillment times vary.

We will provide shipping and tracking information when available and will communicate directly with collectors regarding works requiring specialized delivery or installation.

Insurance

Artwork is insured during shipment when shipping is arranged by STROBEL Gallery. We ask collectors to inspect their purchase promptly upon delivery and retain all packing materials until the work has been safely received and inspected.

Shipping Damage

In the unlikely event that a work arrives damaged, please contact STROBEL Gallery promptly and retain the work and all original packaging. Photographs of the artwork, packaging, and shipping container may be required for an insurance claim.

STROBEL Gallery will work with the artist, shipper, and insurer, as appropriate, to have the work professionally repaired or restored to the collector’s reasonable satisfaction.

If shipping damage cannot be repaired or restored to the collector’s reasonable satisfaction, the purchaser will receive a full refund of the purchase price and applicable shipping charges paid to STROBEL Gallery.

Local Delivery & Installation

Local delivery, professional art handling, and installation may be available for select works. Please contact STROBEL Gallery prior to purchase if your acquisition requires special delivery or installation arrangements.

International Shipping

International shipping may be available for select works. Collectors are responsible for applicable import duties, customs fees, taxes, and other charges imposed by the destination country unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For questions about shipping a particular work, please contact STROBEL Gallery before purchasing. We are happy to help determine the safest and most appropriate delivery method.
