Tina Randolph

Tina Randolph is a Seattle-based artist and designer known for her materially driven surfaces, architectural interventions, and layered mixed-media works that bridge art, pattern, and spatial experience. Working across plaster, pigment, resin, metal, and paint, Randolph creates compositions that draw from architectural ornament, timeworn surfaces, and the visual language of historical craft traditions while remaining distinctly contemporary in form.

Her practice first gained broad recognition through large-scale commissions and immersive interior environments for some of Seattle’s most celebrated hospitality spaces, including Mamnoon, Sun Liquor, Top Pot Doughnuts, Oddfellows, and Tallulah’s. Her work is recognized for its nuanced use of texture, muted tonal palettes, and intricate pattern systems informed by Venetian plaster techniques, Islamic geometry, vintage graphics, and aged architectural surfaces.

For Mamnoon, Randolph developed custom communal tabletops and architectural finishes inspired by Middle Eastern pattern traditions and mashrabiya screen forms, translating historic motifs through a contemporary material vocabulary of integrally pigmented plaster and resin. The project marked a significant evolution in her practice, combining ancient surface techniques with digital pattern development and modern fabrication processes.

In her current studio work, Randolph expands these explorations into abstract painting and mixed-media wall works that investigate geology, topography, structure, and spatial tension through layered plaster, metal, and restrained monochromatic palettes. Her works often occupy a space between painting, relief, and architectural fragments, emphasizing material presence, surface memory, and quiet formal balance.
