Split, to Broaden my Heart

Tina Randolph
Split, to Broaden my Heart
Oil and acrylic on canvas on board
44 × 44 inches

An abstract oil-and-acrylic painting built through successive layers of color, line, and shape. Randolph allows earlier passages to remain active within the composition, so forms appear to overlap, recede, and reassert themselves as the surface develops. Geometric structures, curved forms, and repeated linear marks create a shifting spatial rhythm, with saturated color held against quieter earth tones.
