Where Are the Rains

Anna Skibska draws in space with fine glass filaments, constructing an open network punctuated by red accents. Variations in the thickness of each strand give the glass the character of a drawn line. Light and cast shadows extend the composition beyond its physical structure.

The sculpture’s equine form brings the silhouette of a horse into this open, light-responsive structure.
