Adam Bentz’s Inertia Series 8 is a sculptural linear pendant chandelier in white oak. Its intentional, graceful line is created by bending the wood under precisely controlled pressure sustained over an extended period of time. The white-oil finish gives the work an ethereal presence, while illumination integrated throughout the full length of the form makes light intrinsic to the sculpture.
For commissioned works, Bentz can consult on scale, placement, suspension, illumination, and electrical requirements, and collaborate with architects, designers, and qualified electrical professionals as part of a comprehensive lighting plan.
