Fluid Topographies: Object 11

Fluid Topographies: Object 11 is part of George William Bell’s ongoing investigation of glass as a responsive sculptural medium. The blown form is shaped through heat, pressure, and tooling, producing an irregular topography that shifts between surface and interior. Sand carving and silver mirroring alter the transmission and reflection of light, creating a changing sense of depth as the viewer moves around the work.
