Balder

The god Balder is known for his outstanding qualities: kind, wise, and gentle. During the games of the gods, Loki arranges for the blind Høder to shoot his brother Balder with an arrow made of mistletoe. Balder’s death is the gravest warning of the coming Ragnarök, yet he returns after Ragnarök and is reconciled with Høder.

Backhaus-Brown & Egeværk express this story of grace and renewal in a pale sea-green, battuto-cut glass hull held in a light carved oak keel, its prow and stern rising in two slender, upswept curves, mounted on an oak base.
